Is James Charles a child predator or just desperate?

James Charles has been publicly called out on numerous occasions about his sexual conversations with minors. But is he directly trying to speak to them or is he just desperate? Write Owl reports

James Charles is a very popular makeup influencer with over a 25million subscribers. Recently he has been called out for having sexual and flirtatious conversations with minors within his fanbase, and he is getting zero repercussions for his actions.

This isn't the first time James has been called out for behaving inappropriately with minors. We’ve seen this on multiple occasions. The worst instance was Tati Westbrook’s “bye Sister” video which destroyed the internet and cost James millions of subscribers overnight. It wasn’t until he was able to throw back at the allegations with screenshots and receipts, using the excuse of the minors lying about their age, that James was able to rekindle his career.

So the question now is, why is this all happening again? Well in James’ recent apology he blames his actions on the fact that he is desperate for a relationship, and hasn’t been taking into account the proper actions when speaking to individuals online. Especially ones from his fanbase. He says he doesn’t want to victim blame and takes full responsibility for not looking into the actual age of the person who he was talking to. Although, he didn’t need to make a deep investigation since the minor had their age in their bio. Guess James didn’t try very hard to find out if the fan was lying about their age after all.

If James excuse of desperation is real, wouldn’t he have at least viewed the minor's profile on TikTok to see what he looks like? Isn’t that something a desperately excited individual would do, when their speaking to someone new that they are highly interested in?

Usually, when allegations against James come out, they are very swiftly swept under the rug and his fans forgive him. This is why James was seen posting videos and creating TikToks as he usually does when everyone found out. He treated the situation as if it would fade away like the other instances.

However, this time feels slightly different as more and more individuals try to hold James accountable for these repeated offences. With many debating whether it should be taken legally and others trying not to give their personal opinions. Since the last time James was held accountable for similar allegations, he made a response pushing back at the rumours with proof. This caused the internet to 360 their opinion and rally against everyone who spoke against him.

Forcing some influencers off the internet, like what happened to Angelika Oles on Twitter. This is why many fear talking out about what James has been doing and has been making it easier for him to get away with it.

So I guess the question still stands is James a predator or just desperate? The truth is he is both, regardless of whether an individual has lied about their age or not. This has happened to James far too often to be taken lightly. Once is a mistake, Twice is an accident but three times is a pattern. I find it very strange that after being called out on numerous occasions for the same thing previously, James still doesn’t take the proper procedures when speaking to someone on the internet. His real age was in his bio after all, can James use the argument of not knowing the minor’s age?
